Such a versatile dog, we did tracking, obedience, Rally and Hunting retriever classes and she was a natural at every one. We selected the breed for duck hunting and companionship. She has even been dove hunting a couple of times and loved it. These dogs are eager to please giving them a very high level of trainability. This is a dog that can hunt by day and sleep in your bed at night.Also you couldn't ask for a better breeder. They are your best resource. They are more then happy to keep in touch with all of their puppies families and are helpful in keeping the owner up to date with the latest breed info and up coming events. In summary I hope to own another Elvenwood Toller someday. Submitted by: Ann Priddy on Oct 05, 2009 I have two Elvenwood dogs. Charm who just turned 6 and Seeker who is two. I chose a toller because i wanted a companion to be my best pal and a don that loved to do the performance sports as much as I do.Both dog have exceeded my expectations. Charm has excelled in Rally, Obedience and we are now starting agility and beginning retriever training. She is quick and very birdy.Charm is a magical as her name. Show her something once and she‘s got it. Seeker is growing into a show career. He has his Rally title, is training in obedience and beginning his retriever training!Seeker is a full brother to the litter now on the ground. He is biddiable, smart and loves the water. Jeanne and Jim Wolf have be supportive, always there when I had a question or just wanted to brag. They have become more than friends but family. Thes are active dogs that love to work but are also willing to crash on the sofa and watch TV. |
