Appalachian Kennels breeds for health and natural hunting abilities.  All our dogs are American Kennel Club (AKC) registered with titled lineage in hunt tests and field trial stock.  All dogs bred are of Master Hunter level or higher in the AKC Hunt Tests and North American Hunting Retriever Association (NAHRA) Field Tests.  Our dogs produce intelligent, sound, and biddable puppies.  The puppies have wonderful temperments (non-aggressive), exceptional drive to retrieve, and overall make wonderful family and working dog combination.
