About Hi-Land Farm
Hi-Land Farm is run by husband and wife team Tanner and Heleena Abbott. We own and operate a small goat dairy and produce artisan cheese and grow heritage breed pork. Bracco Italianos were something we had wanted to do for some time and when the opportunity arose to get started we took it. Our farm allows us to raise our own chukar and bobwhite quail, providing a happy and stimulating environment for our pointers. Raised in house they make for excellent family dogs with a truly unique personality, unlike any other breed. Dogs are UKC registered and vet checked.

We've had our Bracco for almost a year and couldn't be happier. Tanner and Helena acted with the care, thoughtfulness, and integrity that you hope to find in a breeder. If and when we get another, I know who to call.

Our dog is just as advertised - athletic yet gentle, obedient with some independent streaks, affectionate but not clingy, great with children, easy to train. Off leash, she is true to her nature and always on the hunt, doing 5 miles of running for every half mile we cover. On leash walking has been the biggest challenge as she is powerful and curious.

I couldn't be happier with my Branco. Hunts very smart, great nose, stylish point, finds birds very well. At 12 months he has guided hunts on a preserve, found every covey, and retrieves to hand. Not gun shy at all, all around great hunting companion!!!
