I have a litter of gordon pups on the ground, whelped Dec 16th. Ready Feb 10th. I will be selling one male and one female from this breeding. It is a breeding that has produced some really nice hunting dogs. Dad is an akc field champion and mother is a very nice hunting dog was the GSCA Derby Dog of the Year 2005 (she would have been an extremely competitive field trial competitor if I had continued with her). We are a full service kennel located just west of Cedar City, Utah. We raise stylish Gordon Setters and German Shorthaired Pointers for field trialing and hunting. We have been training hunting dogs for a number of years and currently take no more than ten dogs for training at a time. We are situated in a perfect spot for training. We can step out the back door and run the dogs for close to 16 miles before hitting a fence. We are in prime quail country. We train with pigeons, quail, chukar, and pheasant. I purchased a Male Gordon Setter from Allen back in Dec 2011 and could not be more pleased. First off Allen responds quickly to all my questions. Secondly this is the first Gordon I have ever owned and so far we have been amazed. They are so smart and very quick to learn, I am truly shocked how easy it has been so far. This dog is so loving and great with my Grand Kids. Time will tell on the hunting part but he is extremely birdy and points the wing already at 4 months.

Nessie is GREAT!! Everyone loves her, and I think we've convinced a few folks to consider a Gordon Setter. She is very gentle and loving. The groomer says she is the best dog ever. The vet asks us to bring her in when we take any of our other animals in. We have a pheasant that visits our back yard frequently, and I have seen her point him. She is very bird aware. She is lively and very energetic. We love her. She still has her beautiful coat, more feathers than I thought she would have.

I bought a female pup from Allen last spring. This pup has turned into a great quail dog in its first year. It is stylish on point and loves to hunt. It is also a great house dog. I would recommend Allen's dogs to anyone looking for a new hunting companion.
