We bought "the child of our old age" from Charlie a little more than six years ago. Annie (Bullet x Tipper) has been everything we wanted. I did not want a wide ranging, big running dog, and it had to be a dog who would live in the house, be part of the family. She has been everything Charlie promised, a "buddy" dog who has tremendous hunting drive. She finds birds when other dogs don't and is as good a retriever as any bird dog I have seen. If my health holds up, there may be one more bird dog in my life, and it will be a Wildrose GSP.

I'm on my 3rd Wildrose GSP and I have 3 avid hunting friends who now have Wildrose GSP's, after seeing and hunting with mine. I love Charlie's breeding and dogs; and, his approach and support once you purchase a dog from him. There are few things in life I love more than bird dogs and hunting upland game so getting (and having to live with) the right dog is a big deal to me. I leave the breeding to professionals and Charlie is a professional. All my dogs and future dogs are and will continue be WR GSPs.

I am one of the Texans. Best dog I have ever had was a wildrose dog. By the way, she passed away today. Her name was Camo. HANDSOME HANK was her Daddy. son of Moose. MOMMA WAS WILDROSE KATIE, DAUGHTER OF BULLET.

Charlie is a great breeder with a love of his shorthairs. His knowledge of shorthairs is as good as is gets. If you tell Charlie what you want he will work hard to get it for you. I started my breeding program with Wildrose stock, and they continue to be some of my very best stock. Lady is the best hunting dog I've ever seen. A daughter from Duke, who is a son of Bullet. I'm not the only one who feels this way. While hunting in Montana, I ran into a couple old boys from Texas who showed my a Wildrose dog, and said it's the best they ever had. Good Luck, and good hunting.
