We have English Cockers, primarily imported bloodlines, that we hunt doves, ducks, quail and wild pheasants over. We generally only have one litter every other year or so. We are not in the business of producing puppies, but are serious hunters who have an occasional litter primarily for our own use. We currently have three cockers, two females and one male. The male was imported from Scotland and one of our females was imported from Yorkshire England. Our dogs had over 40 wild pheasants shot over them on one hunt in Kansas last fall. We like an extremely intelligent dog, with great natural ability, that also makes a great family member. When not hunting, our dogs spend the majority of their time in the house with us.
