Pups from duckdogconnection are conditioned to retrieved on land and water, also conditioned to play with kids and climb steps and kennel up. The pups are conditioned to loud noises, to further help keep from gun shyness. All pups are conditioned from the 3rd week of life to play with duck and pheasant wings. At the 4 week of life they are offered small birds to play with and attempt to fetch, 5th week they are chasing the birds. This type of conditioning is continued through the time that they are to go home, around the 6th week a duck wing is added to a bumper to acheive the desire to fetch and retreive. The bumper is then thrown on land and into the water to get the pups conditioned to the water.
