I purchased "Gregor" from Ariels Kennels shortly after he was born. Melissa and Jason kept us well informed during the 8 weeks, prior to picking him up May 10th. Both of them were very informative and very friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a GSP. Melissa had asked me to keep her informed on the growing process of our pup. And If I had any questions or concerns regarding our pup to freely contact them. I will being sending "Gregor" to them for bird training @ 9 months of age.

I purchased an eight week old GSP puppy from Melissa Rogers at Ariel's Kennels on 3/29/09. Throughout the weeks prior to the purchase Melissa has been a fountain of information and advice, even today, weeks after the puppy has come to his new home, I know I can come to her with any questions or doubts I may have regarding his care and health.
She has a true understanding of the breed, but most of all she cares deeply for her animals and is selective and careful in her breeding and training.
We are purchasing a second pup from Ariels Kennels as soon as it is weaned.

When I had to find a new home for my five year old GSP, Melissa stepped in to guide me through the whole process. She was a wonderful source of help and information. She worked quickly to help find a GREAT new home for my dog.

Her knowledge about the breed and experience with the dogs was evident through our entire communication. I would highly recommend A.K. to anyone!

I would like to start out by thanking Ariel's Kennels (Mellisa and Jason) for being so helpful with my Weimaraners. You two are by far the best and friendliest people I have met in the top notch hunting dog world.

I first came to know of Ariel's Kennels when I was looking for a Weimaraner stud for my female "Sable". I was not able to travel from Western Nebraska to Texas, but Mellisa actually traveled all those hundreds of miles. Sable was bred to their "Vito", who has some of the best blood in the Weimaraner breed's history. Vito is a hell of a nice dog. Great conformation, great hunting drive, and was very friendly. To that union seven puppies were born. As I started them on birds before they sold, it was apparent at a very young age that they were going to be great hunters. Of the puppy buyers that contacted me, all were extremely impressed on how well their dogs did.

Soon after I bought a male Weimaraner "Rocket". I have to say that this was the best decision I ever made. Rocket was retrieving the day after I got him home, (thanks for all the hard work in his early days). He loves the water, and acutally beats my lab to the dummy and retrieves it to hand. He is so smart it is scary. His point is immaculate. His first bird at about six months was a sharp tailed grouse. Rocket tracked the scent, pointed, I shot it, he went out and retrieved it right to my hand. He was so proud, but not as proud as his dad! He is a wonderful dog. Very loving, smart, and hunts ducks geese, grouse, and pheasant.

Late in November I had the privlige of Jason coming up to Nebraska and hunting birds. The weather was terrible. Snow, Sleet, and of course 40-60 mile an hour wind gusts. Jason brought Reb and Rebel, two german shorthair pointers. Now I have only hunted with a few shorthairs being more into Weimaraners, but these dogs did awsome. They minded well, tracked the birds, pointed great, and all this after traveling all the way from Texas where it was warm to horrible frigid weather in Nebraska. Their conformation was great, and they looked beautiful searching out birds in the CRP fields.

Once again thank you for all your help. You are always there for me when I need advice or have questions. Anyone that buys a puppy or breeds with your stud dogs is a lucky person in my opinion. Many people in the hunting dog world are rude, know it all jerks with nothing (blood lines) to show for it. Ariel's Kennels (Mellisa and Jason) are by far the best I have encountered, and that is why I will always try to do business with you first.

Thanks
Scott

We purchased two dogs from Ariels Kennels and they have been excellent. Melissa was very helpful. Her dogs are well cared for and well trained. Her feeding and training methods produce very healthy and hard working pointers. We highly recommend.
