 About HavenCrest GunDogsHavenCrest offers several diffrent breeds of gundog--the dogs we have chosen are the ones that thrive as hunters and family pets, most carry really nice bloodlines some have championship linage.We carry a male and 2 females of each breed, we get a couple litters each year of each breed. We are an AKC inspected facility. Kennels are cleaned everyday and pups are kept on cedar and pine shavings always.We feed Pedigree to all our dogs. We let our pups go at 8wks,when they get their 2nd vaccination series.Pictures are available on each pups and their parents.I've had a lot of people tell me over the last few years that I've found my calling, that this is what I was meant to do.I don't know about that but the dogs are a real joy in our lives here. We purchased two Brittany puppies from Jeremy, and we thank our lucky stars for these dogs every day. Jack and Charlie are fantastic companions in the house and field alike. Their natural ability has made up for my complete lack of dog-training experience. To add to the package, this year Charlie suddenly turned out to be a natural retriever, which makes a day with him an even greater joy. When we walk them in the neighborhood it's a rare day if someone doesn't stop us to ask about them. Birdy, beautiful, and sweet. Jeremy carries the "Best of the Best" picks when it comes to breed standards, and far exceeds the excellence in care you would expect to see in a kennel environment. The kennels are clean, spacious, and well designed. When we purchased our Brittany "Gidget" from him,the level of care didn't stop there. He has always been readily available to offer advice on any problems or concerns I may have. As far as Gidget, even as last of the litter, she has far exceeded all of our expectations, and still proves to be a choice pick of the breed. Jeremy sets the standard for what to look for in a breeder, and a breed. His dogs and pups are spoiled!!!Submitted by: Elliott Douglass on Sep 10, 2009 My husband and I bought a Brittney Spaniel,"Lady", from Jeremy in June of 2009 and it was the best experience I have ever had. His sons were playing with the pups as we drove up per their "socialization schedule" to play and get used to people at the same time. Lady's parents were on site in well kept, clean kennels, where both he and his wife share a love for these dogs. Jeremy allowed us to stay for what seemed like forever to pick out just the perfect dog for our family. I swear, knowing him, if we had stayed any longer he would have asked us to dinner! :) He is knowlegeable with his breeds, cares for them like they were his own, and keeps a very clean "non-puppy mill" kennel, to raise and breed his beloved dogs. His children and wife are loving with their dogs. Being a small breeder, I usually think large breeders fail in giving their dogs the proper attention and love. However, I have sold a female to Jeremy because I know he takes the utmost care of his dogs and he loves them like they should be loved. HavenCrest is a large breeder with a small breeder mentality. |
