About Centerville Farm and Kennel
While training pointing dogs is our primary business, we do have puppies and started dogs available at times throughout the year. The puppies we breed are of exceptional quality as both bird dogs and family members. Our grounds are groomed for puppies, derbies and adult dogs to learn to hunt with style and obedience. The kennel is modern, heated with radiant heat to keep dogs comfortable and clean while they are with us. We train by the hour, week, month, or multiple months for a more finished dog. We also work with handlers to sharpen their skills and provide a smooth transition from our grounds to yours.

I just visited Dave at the Centerville kennel. My Brittany Maggie just passed on and I was looking for a quality gun dog (Brittany of course), and found Dave. I cannot tell you how professional, nice and knowledgeable Dave was. I put a deposit on a female. The most impressive thing about Dave and the kennel is it is basically a Brittany training school. They are the most proficient trainers and dog handlers I have met in my 40 years of hunting. I am so very excited about my new gun dog, and very much look forward to working with Dave. I strongly suggest if you need advice, training, or are looking for a hunting Brittany you speak to Dave.

I got a dog off Dave and Sarah about a year ago. He is fantastic in the field. I know everyone loves their own dog best, so yeah I think my dog is great! But I must say I think Centerville Farm and Kennel uses training methods that keeps the dog's mind open to learn. I bought a started 16 month old Deutsch Drathaar pup from them that has never failed to learn new tasks. The framework training that Dave Marshall put into my dog is so solid that, actually I truly believe I could ask that dog to search, quarter, point, woah, flush, mark, retrieve to hand, work in water, blood track, fur track, take hand signals, cross moving water to retrieve or even sit/stay in a pin of birds and he would simply obey. I am impressed with this dog, to say the least.

Another nice thing about getting a dog from Centerville, I get to talk to Dave and Sarah pretty often. They call me to check in on how we are getting along. I really appreciate that. Its nice to talk to someone who has worked with your dog, and knows how to help you along the way.

Two big paws up for Centerville Farm and Kennel!

Dave and his wife Sarah selected a Brittany for my son and I not only to hunt, but also to compete in field trials. Our dog is 15 months old and we train on a regular basis at Centerville Farm and Kennels.
Dave and Sarah could not have been more helpfull with us. They answer any questions that we may have and are alway's ready to make extra time for us when needed. I highly reccomend them to anyone who is interested in their area of expertise, from puppies to fully trained hunting dogs. You will not be sorry!!
