About Sunny Ridge Kennel

We have just began a small kennel, and have only three adult beagles at the moment. We enjoy showing our beagles in AKC events, and breed for show and pet purposes alone. Our dogs have excellent show bloodlines, but are NOT hunting beagles.

Beagles are wonderful companions and family pets. These dogs are wonderful with children and other pets. They have a non-agressive loving nature, and they need moderate amounts of exercise, and minimal amounts of grooming. Keep in mind that beagles are very dependent upon their humans, and need lots of attention. Despite common belief, beagles are not heavy shedders, and do not bark anymore frequently than any average dog. Since our beagles are show bred, they are better in the house, do not bay, and our less obsessive with tracking scents. None of our dogs are in-bred, and they are from a very healthy line.
