High Ridge Gun Dogs - Pennsylvania Braque Francais Breeders

We have had one litter so far and the results have been fantasic.My wife and I decided to breed our female due to the natural talent and eagerness to please she shows daily. We feel our female is the perfect example of what the Braque Francais is known for. This breed of pointers of French origin is a close handling, mild mannered, eager to please gun dog that is also perfectly suited for living inside along the family. These are working dogs who love to hunt and are best suited for both upland birds and waterfowl. Our dam is French Canadian and the sire we chose is pure French, both from excellent blood lines.The dam is from a NAVHDA Breeders Award Winning Kennel and the male's sire is a North American Versatile Champion in 2009 '' Hawg Wild of Sunshine Kennels'' and ''Jersey Sporting Dogs Tia''. We committed ourselves to producing healthy, quality pups so our dam and sire have been tested and cleared CERF for their eyes and OFA good and excellent for their hips. Both of the dogs and all puppies from them are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and NAVHDA. Full pedigrees and more photos are available upon request. We are raising these puppies in our home, as part of our family. To hopefully become part of your family too. UPDATE: We just had our pup from the first litter Natuaral Ability Tested with our local chapter of NAVHDA (Hickory Run) and could not have been more pleased she scored 110 pints for a prize 1 at 10 Months old.

Joe and Laina are great. I was looking into GSPs, and I am so thankful, I found this breed. When we visited the dam and pups, there was no barking (GSPs scared my oldest daughter to death when we visited); the dogs didn't jump on me or my children; they were everything I hoped I could find in a dog. Tia, the dam, is amazing, and I know that my pup is going to rock as well. I would recommend this breeding pair to anyone if there's another litter in the future. They're a little more than some GSPs, but a day will never go by when you regret spending the extra money.
