About Packard's Pointers
WE have been raising Bassets for eighteen years. This is the third year we have been raising GSPs. We are a family who raises our dogs and pups as part of our family. We only breed our bitches once a year or even more, to ensure healthy babies. We have not gotten a kennel lisence as of yet, we are hoping to do that later this year. Please call for any more info. 503-556-4691

Submitted by: John Vranizan on Jan 26, 2012We purchased a liver & white male GSP from Dawn and Rodney in 2008 and we couldn't be happier with our Max. Their dogs are raised in the home as part of their family. Max is extremely "birdie", very smart, easy to train and a wonderful companion to our 3 boys. We're so pleased with the quality of GSP from Packard's Pointers that we're bringing home a "baby girl" GSP from Dawn and Rodney soon.
Submitted by: Riley on Dec 30, 2011I purchased a GSP from Rodney in Mai of 2011. My dog, Violet, is a fantastic bird dog. Her prey drive is undeniable. I took her her pheasant hunting in Idaho at about 8 or 9 months old and she was showing up fully trained dogs. My experience with this breeder and his line of dogs is extremely positive. If you want a good running and hunting partner, look no further. I grew up with setters that were good bird dogs, Violet at 10 months is twice the field dog they were in their prime!
Submitted by: Tania Close on Sep 18, 2011In November 2010 we had the good fortune to purchase a basset hound from this breeder. He was a male and he was the best decision we ever made. He is a beautiful basset with gorgeous coloring and a perfect temperment. While I am still a novice at owning this breed. I will say this breeder does wonders!!! We are hoping to add another one really soon.
