We have the Rustasha Irish Red and White Setter kennel in the UK. It takes some persuading for us to export our puppies but we had no hesitation in exporting a pup on recommendation to Kim at the Shireoak kennels in Canada in 2003. She quickly became the youngest Canadian Champion at that time.

In 2006 we travelled to Canada to stay at the Shireoak kennels and to meet our new pup - Shireoak Hurricane Ruby Rustasha. Can Ch Rustasha Ruby Raindrop had been bred to a very handsome Caniscaeli dog with some of the older UK lines behind him. We were not disappointed. We were made very welcome and got to witness Kim's commitment to the breed. Having met most of the siblings from this litter I can honestly say it was one of the finest litters I have ever seen for conformation and temperament. Our import, Ruby, from Kim is holding her own at shows in the UK even though she has some maturing to do. She is healthy, happy and contented - much of this due to Kim treating her as part of her own family of R&W for 10 months whilst she qualified for the strict UK pet passport scheme.

I have no hesitation in recommending Kim Spelmer and the Shireoak kennel to those readers looking for a lifelong commitment to an Irish Red and White Setter.
