Biscay Water Dogs - Ontario Barbet Breeders

We are a home based breeding fancier of the Barbet - French Water Dog.  Rare as there are only 1,900 world wide (300+ in Canada, 95+ in America) The Barbet is known for its' excellent retrieving ability, and some point and flush as well. Their impish play and fierce loyalty are also signature characteristics in this breed. We breed for health, temperament and historical lineage. Our dogs are imported from all over the world, some with very strong hunting and retrieving instincts.  Puppy testing for temperament, instinct and ability is done throughout the 12 weeks in our care.  Every effort is made to match the right dog to the right owner based on his/her needs.
