Daphne is the top winning bitch in the history of the breed in Canada. At just two years of age she became the first Brittany bitch to ever win an All Breed Best in Show in Canada and to earn a Canadian Grand Championship title. She had 35 group placements in Canada in 2011. Daphne is a Multiple Group Winner and Multiple Best of Breed in Specialty Winner. She finished 2011 as Canada's #1 Brittany bitch and #2 brittany and was a top Sporting dog.

Daphne was shown to her UKC Championship owner handled and finished with multiple group placements. She finished the year as the #2 Brittany in the UKC and was invited to the prestigious "Top 10 competition".

Daphne is hunt titled in Canada and the United States. She was the top scoring Pointing Dog at the Brittany Spaniel Club of Ontario Junior Hunt test in the Spring of 2011.

Daphne was shown in the United States during the Winter of 2012 and was a Eukanuba National Championship Award of Excellence Winner with an entry of 43 champions. She is an American Sporting Group Winner and Multiple Group Placer and was the #5 ranked Brittany in the United States when she was bred to MBIS MBISS GCH Dual Lanes Cam JH in February of this year. She had a healthy litter of 9 beautiful puppies. Daphne was shown 6 weekends in the fall and ended 2012 as the # 1 Brittany bitch in Canada and # 4 Brittany.

Daphne's puppies are already making their presence known with Daniel, AM CH RiverMist Broxden Make Mynah Double being awarded Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best Puppy at the American Brittany Club National Specialty Show in Arkansas in November at just 6 months of age. He finished his AKC championship the following weekend from the 6 to 9 month puppy class. Littermates Penn and Macy won their respective Sweepstakes classes with large entries. Penn, Ch RiverMist Broxden No Harm No Fowl completed his Canadian championship in December on his 8 month birthday and is also AKC pointed. Macy, RiverMist Broxden Best I Feather Seen is AKC and CKC show pointed and is a Best in Match winner. Duke who lives in Texas with his family is also AKC pointed. Daphne's success as a brood bitch was recognized by her winning the competitive Brood Bitch class at the American Brittany Club National Specialty Show.

We are extremely proud of Daphne. She is a one in a million dog and we are so grateful that she chose us. She will be shown selectively next year but our competitive focus will be on the puppies. Daphne will enjoy well deserved pampering on the sofa and some "fun" with birds.
