Hungry Mountain Gun Dogs - Oklahoma German Shorthaired Pointer, Labrador Retriever Breeders

Hungry Mountain Gun Dogs is located in beautiful Southeastern Oklahoma. We raise HUNTING DOGS! We live on 1100 acres surrounded by multiple creeks and beautiful Lake Tenkiller. Our Labs are large blockheaded dogs who are already swimming by 4-5 weeks and some are retrieving as early as 9-12 weeks. We use our Labs on both Duck hunting and Upland Birds. Our dogs average 80-90 lbs. They range in color from almost white, black, yellow, and chocolate . We also raise German Shorthairs, these are great dogs, we hunt upland birds with all our pups parents and everyone who gets these pups usually come back for more! Our bloodlines go back to Hiedi's Mighty City Slicker, Sin City Ace, Raw Hides Clown, Mosegard Jigs and many more great dogs.

We are not raising any pups right now! Spending this year HUNTING! However Kerry Tyree in Sapulpa Oklahoma has a couple of outstanding Dogs he has purchased from us and he currently has seven great looking German Shorthair Pups (solid liver) man are they nice! I was fortunate enough to take one of Dave's beautiful German Shorthaired Pointers home with me. He is an exceptionally smart GSHP. Diesel was fetching and retrieving within the first two weeks and swimming and retrieving within about a month. The dog loves the water and loves to retrieve I can wait for the upcoming season to but his talents to use on the field. Dave was very knowledgeable and helpful; I would recommend him to anyone looking for a GSHP or Lab.
