Submitted by: Steve Kolo on Dec 09, 2014I had purchased a male pup from Bill a few years back and I must say he was worth every penny I spent on the pup and my airfare to fly out and pick him up. The hunt drive and disposition of my dog Riley is incredible. This past year we competed in the annual Chucker Challenge at the High Desert Hunt Club in Mayer AZ and he took 2nd place competing against some very talented GSP, Brittany's and other pointing breeds. If you're considering a new pup I would recommend that you give Bill a call to discuss your needs for your next hunting buddy. It won't be long before you're saying Thanks Bill this is the best dog I've ever had Sincerely, Steve Kolo, Phoenix AZ
Submitted by: Kenneth Zettel on Aug 25, 2014I was recommended to Bill Tate at Willow Kennels from a young lady that bought a pup from Bill a few years ago. Glade I followed through. We now have a fine healthy Brittany pup, who shows great hunting instincts, & already is my best friend in & out of the house. Bill gave us all the time we needed at his kennel & answered all our questions. All of his adult dogs looked great. We felt very confident about Bill as soon as we met him. I would recommend Bill Tate at Willo Kennels to every one. Thanks Bill for a great pup.

Submitted by: Sean Virgili on Feb 19, 2012I purchased a 10 week old liver and white male brittany puppy in early November. Dealing with Bill at Willo Kennels was a great experience. He sent me pics. of the puppies asap and it was well worth the 3.5 hour drive to get our new puppy. Here it is 4 mo. later and I still talk to Bill once a month. He has been a great help and full of info. and my almost 6 mo. old puppy is doing great. I would and do highly recommend Willow Kennels to everyone I meet.
Submitted by: Darren Thraen on Nov 18, 2011I purchased my first hunting companion from Bill and Kip in August 2010. I could not be happier with Baeleigh. She has excelled at hunting and is an absolute princess at home. I look forward to adding to the pack in the spring of 2012 when I add a male Brit. You will not find finer people to work with.
Submitted by: Ginny Hovanec on Nov 01, 2010Jay & I have known Bill & Kip since the later part of 1970's when we got our very first Britt from them. We now have a 3rd or 4th generational
male from our original "This Bid's 4-u" an outstanding energetic male, who has a heart to match his enthusiasm. Bill & Kip are genuine and caring breeders producing some of the best tempered dogs. Bill's continued involvement only helps to leave a Legacy of Love for all proud owners of the Brittany Spaniel Breed!
Submitted by: Dale M. DIKE on Oct 05, 2010I have known Bill and Kip Tate since 1997.I am an avid grouse and woodcock hunter, hunting every weekend starting in october to the end of january and have never hunted behind finer dogs than the four brittanys that I have bought from them. I train my oun dogs and never have I worked with dog having the best traits you could want in a fine hunting and house companion .I have allways trusted their breeding none finer.
Submitted by: Rebecca Schenk on Dec 30, 2009I purchased a male liver and white brittany from Bill in July 2008 as a family pet. We could not have been any happier with the quality of dog we received having such a wonderful temperment and high degree of intelligence. He was quite loveable and easily trained. Unfortunately, we lost Rufus at only 18 months old when he was struck by an errant driver. I contacted Bill who expressed his sympathy and gave my family wonderful news that he was soon expecting a litter of similar breeding. We are now looking forward bringing one of Rufus' cousins into our home.
Submitted by: Warren Grugle on Aug 20, 2008I purchased my Brit female from Bill & Skip Tate in August,2000. You won't deal with finer people than the Tates, who breed only the finest Brittanies. My Brit, Paige, is now 8 years old, and I have never had a finer dog in my life (I'm 55), nor one that has enriched my life to the degree Paige has. Paige has a great nose, instinct, drive, and personality. Several preserves have tried to buy her from me after seeing her hunt. No breeder in the country produces finer Brits than my Paige.
Submitted by: Bob Weber on Aug 24, 2007Bill and Kip Tate couldn't have been any nicer, any more informative or any more accomodating to us while we made our decision. We are now proud owners of a beautiful liver and white male Brittany. I highly reccommend Willo Kennels if you are considering a Brittany. You would have a hard time convincing me you would a better breeder anywhere.
