I now have a second puppy from Steve K. and is just as exceptional as my first. My second GWP male puppy (Vom Woltjen Outlaw Dillon Kane) was brought home at the end of January 2016. We just call him Outlaw. He got this name from always trying to escape out of the whelping box. This puppy took his first swim at the end of February, out in the field with pigeons through early spring. He just got a Prize 1 - 112 NA at 8 3/4 months old. Outlaw has a great temperament and is very social with other dogs. My first puppy also got a Prize 1 NA. Steve has always been there to talk with and help with training issues. I not only have a great breeder to go to, but have gained a friendship with Steve and Linda.

I purchased a Male GWP puppy from Steve in July 2013. Words cannot express how pleased I am with this pup. We just got a Prize 1 - 106 score In the NAVHDA NA Text. This pup has been a quick learner when it comes to obedience and field work. He has quite a personality and is a natural retriever and has an intense point. Steve has always been there to answer questions, and give training advice. I feel very fortunate to be given the chance to own a Vom Woltjen puppy. You will not be disappointed with a puppy from Steve, but remember they can be hard headed Wires.

I got Glock from Steve as a puppy in 2002, he is 6 years old now. He has a 107 prize II N.A. and a 191 Prize I UT in NAVHDA. Glock is the best dog I have ever owned period. I could not have ask for dog with a better personality or hunting ability or as a companion. And one of the best things that came out of getting Glock is the friendship I have developed with Steve and Linda Kane in the process. You can't go wrong with a Vom Woltjen dog.

I have a male from Steve. My GWP, Derringer, is 8 years old now and has been the best dog I have ever had. Derringer prized during his Natural Ability test and has been a great hunting companion. We brought Derringer home a few month before my second son. I could not ask for a better family dog for my kids.
Steve really cares about the sucess of his dogs and was a huge help in training me to get Derringer ready for his Natural ability test. I'll get my next dog from Steve when the time comes.
