She is only 10 weeks old but is looking great and seems to be adjusting well. Can't wait until I can get her out in the field next season!Submitted by: Michael Treisch on Mar 11, 2010 I recently obtained a puppy from Lookaway Kennels and I am very happy with my dog Dakota. He is 9 1/2 weeks old and I have had him for 2 weeks. So far he has learned to sit, shake, stay, come, and he is pointing a pheasant wing with the wing and string method. He is 95% house and crate trained and has been going to public hunting land for an hour at a time. At this time his range is about 10 to 15 yards and comes when called. He seems to like water and is in the begining stages of retrieving in the field with a tennis ball. He has been very easy to socialize and learns at a very fast pace. After his shots are complete we are going to take him to more places to socialize. Besides having the desire to please me and what appears to be very good hunting instints, he loves to just lay beside you or lay on you for companionship. I will be posting more infomation as he gets older and learns more things. I would like to thank Lookaway Kennels for the opportunity to get Dakota.
