 About Linden's VizslasLinden's Vizslas - Home of ChampionsOur family has been involved in Vizslas since 1980 when my mother purchased our first one. This female was bought mainly for the purpose of a family pet and occasionally a weekend hunting dog. Over the last 28 years, we have put over 60 AKC and Vizsla Club of America(VCA) titles on various dogs. These have ranged from 5 Dual Champions, 1 National Amateur Field Champion, 10 Show Champions, 8 Field Champions and Amateur Field Champions, 3 Master Hunters, numerous Senior and Junior titles, 3 Companion Dog titles and 15 Versatility Certificates. We have been extremely fortunate over the years with our dogs and with the dogs that we have produced. We have received numerous national placements, 3 State of Ohio Dog of year Awards, and numerous VCA Top Ten standings. In our breeding program, we strive to breed for the very best versatile dog. The main aspect is the temperament, the Vizsla has a very special temperament and we want to keep it in our dogs. The next thing on our list is the field ability of the dog. This is a sporting breed and a bird dog should be able to put meat on the table. Next is the looks of the dogs. We breed for dual type of dog. Our primary interests are field trials, hunt tests, conformation, obedience and the versatility program, and of course exceptional hunting companions. But the most important thing to us concerning our dogs is that they are part of the family first. Everything else is just icing on the cake. After spending the weekend with these two it is completely obvious they know what they are doing and do it for the right reasons; the dogs. Great temperament, drive, look, and of course personality in all their dogs, not to mention Linda and Denny know how to make a person feel like they are part of their family after only a couple of days with their dogs and a few fellow owners.
