About Rough Water RetrieversRough Water Retrievers is a small, family kennel located in the Finger Lakes Region of New York. We specialize in British Labrador Retrievers for the family and discriminating sportsman. Our breeding program focuses on temperament, desire to please, train-ability, physical soundness, and strong Field Trial/hunting pedigrees. These are all traits that are important in producing the "Ultimate Family Companion and Field Dog." We usually have 2 litters per year. Our Dams and Sires are all AKC registered, their hips have been cleared by either O.F.A or PennHip, and have C.E.R.F certificates with normal eyes. Our puppies have been vet checked, given 1st. shots, wormed, and micro-chipped before they begin there life with your family. They are ready to go at 8 weeks of age. Please call or check out our web site for current availability. Shipping is available. Our sire, Rough Water's Two Step Tango, was bred in Ireland and whelped here in New York. He has numerous National and International Field Trial Champions and Winners in his pedigree. His Sire, F.T.CH. Myreton Diablo of Glenloch, is a (2) time Irish F.T.CH. and his Grand Sire, F.T.CH. Craighorn Bracken was the 2001 British Retriever of the Year. He is both an excellent family member and outstanding working retriever.
