About Silver State GSP
I raise German Shorthairs, but only have a litter every few years. All my current puppies are sold> I will have another litter in late 2014
Call or Text me at 775-846-0822 for more info or see my website: silverstategsp.com.
I breed these dogs for the love of the breed and for great hunting or field trial dogs. But, the first thing I breed for is temperment and health as the hunting component is built in. I breed mild tempered dogs with great intelligence and bird sense, many are show quality. Thanks for considering my dogs, you won't be disappointed, Chris Whitbeck

Submitted by: Damon Drakulich on Nov 11, 2013I am to say the least an avid chuckar hunter. I am more than selective in choosing a GSP gun dog and scoured the US 9 western states and ironically found my pup Jazzy in Washoe Valley! Jazzy, last year at the age of 5 months made 5 points and retrieved 8 chuckar ( Oregon Birds) on her inaugural hunt! She has only gotten better since then. She took 3rd place out of 22 dogs in her 1st field trial and I ran her as an amateur and had no clue what to do. But the field is her preference and she can hunt all day. She is the Queen of the Chuckar Birds! She is the daughter of the bitch who threw this last litter! No more needs to be said, best dogs in the west. You can call me at 800 300 3721 for more info.
Submitted by: Marc Runyan on Nov 09, 2013We picked up our puppy about a week ago. All of the puppies were great which made our decision difficult. The evaluation that Chris had done at 8 weeks really helped. Our vet checked out our pick and said he checked out fine with no issues. Chris and his family were a pleasure to meet and you can tell that they really care about their canine family. Would be glad to do business with Chris again.
