He is full of life and gives my 2 year old setter a run for her money. Hondo has proved himself a fast learner. He was house broke in less than a week. He has picked up on everything very fast. He showed so much interest is wings that I decided to take him to the park. As soon as he hit the ground he was working like a seasoned vet. It didn't take long and he was pointing a big crow at the end of the parking lot.When I first spoke to Jerry over the phone about his pups I asked about the hunting lines, he laughed and said “you will be impressed". He was right about that. Being new to GSPs I asked a lot of questions and Jerry has been more then helpful. After visiting with Jerry and Deb in their home, it was easy to see why Hondo is such a lover too. Each pup had their own place by the fire to stay warm. I felt bad taking little Hondo from his spot when it was time to make the trip home. It was cold out that day so Deb sent one of the puppies blankets with me so Hondo could stay warm in a familiar place. She sent me with a hot cup of coffee as well. I have nothing but kind words for Jerry and Deb both. The love and care they show their pups is second to none. I recommend to anyone looking for a great hunter and family friend to give them a call.
