About Big Sky Chesapeakes

Located in Missoula, Montana; We are happy to offer beautiful Chesapeake Bay Retrievers to people looking for loyal, hard working family dogs. Chesapeakes are known for their waterfowl hunting skills, and the ability to swim in cold temperature waters. For home protection a Chesapeake is second to none. In addition, Chesapeakes are very family oriented dogs, they tend not to stray or leave the yard/house and are generally very kind to children. Chessies love the outdoors and enjoy working for thier owners whether out in the field or at home.

We have one breeding pair of dogs which are both deadgrass color. Our Sire is a big chessie named Trigger and our Dam is a sweet , lovable and birdie Honey. Both dogs come from strong hunting lines and make great pets. We love our dogs, and each pup recieves great treatment in a family enviroment and is introduced to feathers at 6 weeks. We breed our dog so that others may enjoy having a great companion such as a Chesapeake Bay Retriever.

Our new litter is here!! We currently have four Pups for sale. Two females and two males are available as of November 2nd. Each pup has been given a well check and dew claws have been taken off. First shots will also be given before they go away to thier new homes.
