vom Jägerherzen - Montana Deutsch Drahthaar, Deutsch Langhaar Breeders

NOTE: If you are looking for a puppy, I have not yet had a litter. I purchased my first hunting puppy in March of 2004 and started advertising on this site in 2007 along with the kennel I bought my first two dogs from in order to promote the Deutsch Langhaar breed which is virtually unknown and also to promote my personal dogs - 3 of which I listed for sale and subsequently sold and rehomed.

At the time I originally listed, Deutsch Langhaar wasn't an available option, so I later switched my listing to the actual breed I owned, Deutsch Langhaar. As members know, the backend says "Years In Business" including all related services while the front end says "Breeding Gun Dogs for over however many years". This is misleading as some establish a kennel in advance and some with the birth of the first litter or not at all if they are adverstising other services. I have placed 2 started dogs and one finished hunting dog since 2009. These placements have resulted with both puppy sales with other breeders and seeds planted for future promotions of the German hunting breeds I love.

I learned about the value of the German performance base testing system and to this day I am a strong proponent of the JGHV. Less than two years after my first DL I was adding another into my home and heart having immersed myself into the world of conservation hunting and versatile dogs. Since then I have raised, trained, tested and/or hunted with 4 additional DLs and 2 Deutsch Drahthaars.

Vom Jägerherzen translated from German means "from the hunter's heart" and reflects my vision for living an abundant life filled with gratitude, joy, and passion. The mission of vom Jägerherzen is to promote the excellent qualities of the German performance tested dog to the hunting public. The heart of vom Jägerherzen is in the dogs. Safe and happy hunting!

All true Deutsch Langhaars have green colored Ahnentafels, or German Pedigrees with both an FCI and JGHV emblem. Only the two preceding listed kennels are actually selling Deutsch Langhaars. The others listed are currently selling German Longhairs. The first litter whelped by a current Deutsch Langhaar Breeder was in October of 2002, just over 10 years ago.
