 About Milomix KennelOur goal is to breed and produce the best English and Gordon Setters available. Any dog we breed must be calm natured, stylish, and above all a good bird finder. Hips are always radiographed before breeding. Puppies have their dewclaws removed. Pups are well socialized and often brought into our veterinary clinic in St. Louis. Our dogs live on our 670 acre central Missouri farm and get trained on wild quail. Annually for the past 20 years our dogs are trained and evaluated on sharptails and huns in Canada. I bought Josh, an English Setter, in 1995. He was perfect, calm, intelligent and was housebroken early. He was a pet and protective of me (don't know how he was with groomers etc). His was sired by Milomix Tom and Silvercup. Lost him in 2009. Still miss him. Haven't seen anything like him to replace him. |
