About Cedar Ridge Kennel

Welcome to Cedar Ridge Kennel. Our kennel is a small family run kennel located in SouthWest Missouri just east of Joplin at the foothills of the Ozarks.

We take a lot of pride in our German Shorthair Pointers. You can rest assured every dog we sell has had many hours going over pedigrees to decide the best possible breeding.

My wife Myra dedicates her time to preparing for the litter and taking care of the puppies. She also takes the time to make sure that our kennel is kept clean and the dogs are healthy and happy.

Our dogs have extreme drive and yet biddable in the field they also make great family pets. Our dogs are bred to be competitive in the field trial arena because that is what we like to do. If you don't like to TRIAL it makes no mater. I guarantee that our dogs will be one of the best you have ever hunted behind.

We offer started or finished dogs and an occasional puppy. We also will train a couple dogs at a time. Through the years of raising/breeding German Shorthairs we have never had a dog come back to us with any health problems.
