Wyndancer Gordon Setters - Minnesota Gordon Setter Breeders

We feel that the odds of getting a dog that can handle a wide variety of game birds goes up dramatically when dogs are being bred by dedicated bird hunters. Minnesota is a place in which we have the opportunity to hunt multiple species of game birds, those being Ruffed Grouse, Sharp Tailed Grouse, Pheasants and American Woodcock. We don't try to breed Best of Breed dogs, unless your definition of Best of Breed is a day in the field with your dog pointing birds.

We promote and support purebred Gordon Setters through hunt tests and field trials. We are also one of the few breeders to make breeding selections based on our hunting experiences. Our goal is to produce attractive dogs that have sound temperaments and have outstanding qualities as bird dogs.

We have a litter about every 18 months, sometimes more, sometimes less.
