I have had Flushers / Pointers for 35 years and I have been involved in training Flushing / Pointers for the past 6 years. I am very competetive in the field and taken part in numerous field tournaments. I have proven winners and will provide you with such. My style reflects the techniques taught by Rick Smith. I like to take a positive approach to training your hunting buddy from the start phase of intro to bird and gun to forced fetch to hand signals. Regardless of energy level by using my training techniques I will turn your next best friend into something that will be enjoyed by all parties involved in his/her success. When I have a bird dog in for training he will be getting alot of exercise and the weight that he is at when he gets here is very important. If he is heavy he will tire easy especially when I have him in the field on birds. The better you can keep him at his ideal weight the more he or she will get bout of the training. Remember the amount it says your dog should get according to the dog food bag , may be to much. Every dogs matabolism is different, you may need to decrease the amount you give him. HAPPY HUNTING
