He is an incredibly smart dog, very active outdoors, the most athletically gifted dog I've ever owned. In the house he is calm and patient. He is a very loyal companion, totally devoted to his family and not very interested in strangers. He is the most gentle dog I've ever had, and has never shown any aggression toward anyone or any other animals.Not surprisingly, he still has some separation anxiety from his owner dying and the accompanying trauma. However, this anxiety is always manifested in positive rather than negative ways. I can leave him alone in the house during the day when I'm at work and he does not exhibit any of the destructive behaviors that some dogs will develop when left alone for extended periods. I'd highly recommend dogs from this breeder. |
