We Selectively Line Breed Hustler / Stradivarius and Hege-Haus Bloodlines to Produce the Finest in Dual Quality Shorthairs for the most Discriminating Hunter or Field Trialer. Our Program produces puppies with Strong Natural Instincts, Drive ,Class and Intelligence in the field, Outstanding Conformation for the Show Ring and First and Foremost Great Temperaments for the Family Companion. Our Shorthairs are as much at home in the field as well as the comforts of your home.Dogs produced through our Breeding Program are being Campaigned successfully in the Show Ring,Field Trials, Hunts Tests, NAVHDA, NSTRA Organizations.Our dogs have been hunted from the Grouse Woods of the East to the Prairies of the West. I purchased my first shorthair from Robert Grove/Fieldmaster Shorthairs and was not dissapointed. His breeding program is turning out quality, biddable dogs with loads of natural ability and a great temperment. Before my pup was born and after he was always responsive to my questions and always was helpful. My 7 month old pup Ava just ran in her first JH test and her average scores for the two days were 8.75 and 9.5, with 10,10,10, 8 on her second day. (the only thing she scored less than perfect on was trainability, the one thing I am responsible for) I attribute this almost entirely to her quality breeding as I am new to pointing dogs. I truly believe she could do anything I required, whether it be big running field trialing or NAVHDA testing. Without question, when it comes time for another shorthair I will be getting my pup from Robert Grove and Fieldmaster Shorthairs.

I purchased a German Shorthair male pup from Fieldmaster's who at 7 months took his first junior hunt test and scored a 8,8,9,8 with four finds he is just awesome. I am the proud companion of Fieldmaster's Maximumpoint {Stitch 5/2006}. Stitch was the pick of the males and it took all of one minute to make that decision!!!
