We've had our Sassafras for about 7 years now, and she is a sweet, gentle, loving, funny, angel of a dog. We have had numerous compliments on her beautiful appearance, but nothing compared to the compliments we have had on her temperament. She is incredibly gentle with everyone and is especially good with timid dogs. She is the least dominant, aggressive dog I have ever seen. She is the gentle heart of our family. I would, without reservation, recommend a Labrador from Bev Chapman. She is a caring and devoted breeder who knows how to breed sound, beautiful, good tempered labs. Our black "Fergus", whose life ended last August at 12 1/2, was an absolutely terrific and lovely dog. He was very calm, terribly handsome and very sweet. We HAD to return to Beverly for our next dog. We have not been disappointed with our new chocolate female, "Maddie". At 9 months, she is training very well, is very affectionate and has settled down nicely. We have received many compliments on her behavior and her sound appearance. So.....in my opinion, you could not go wrong with a Whipowil lab. |
