Linda indicated that we needed to visit so that she could be sure that we would be a good family for one of here pups. We immediately knew that this was where we would get our pup. Duncan is now a little over a year old and He is an absolute joy! Anyone who sees him comments about his striking looks. He is a great family dog and loves his people. In the field his drive is out of this world. He has just done his NA and scored a 105 prize 2. He loves to hunt and is better at finding the birds than I am at shooting them. I especially like the way that Linda has built a community of owners around each litter and the greater group of Fenton river dogs! Linda will answer any questions that come up and suggest health care and training techniques for you and your new friend. We got a male from the breeding of Storm and Rosie, Fenton River Into the Mystic (Spenser). He is now just over 4 months old, and we couldn't be happier. He has an excellent temperament, and loves birds. He is not afraid of anything, and shows confidence in the field. He's even pointed and flushed wild ruffed grouse, and has been on quail and pheasant, and has a great prey drive. Linda has been extremely helpful, and is always available with advice on any questions we have had. We highly recommend Fenton River Shorthairs if you are looking for a quality hunting dog and family companion. Linda from Fenton River won a Breeders Award for this litter in 2006. Maximillian received a 105 point Prize 1 at the NAVDA Natural Ability test on 9/17/2005, his whelp date was 4/28/2005 so he was just short of 5 months old. I purchased Max to be a hunting companion but he has been much more. With two children under 3 yrs and a cat his temperment has been outstanding. He is a biddable dog with a passion and drive for finding birds. I highly recommend Linda at Fenton River to anyone who loves GSP's |
