![]() About Siedelmann LabsWe have been breeding labs for around nine years now. We are avid hunters and we demand the best out of our dogs. Our Stud is a chocolate son of the ever famous "Nick"(Wooden Nickel) and our females are a few different lines. We currently have Three of our females having litters and we have 3-4 litters a year. The girls are all excelent in the field always giving it their all untill the end of the day; they are also very good with kids and calm in the house. It started as a hobby, and now its a passion. We take great pride in our pups and have always heard great things from customers. Max turned 2 this past October, and is both hunting & inside dog. We had great succuss with house training, with only 1 accident total in all the time we had him. He was only few months old we came back from hunting with couple pheasants and quail. I took the quail and had Max try to retrieve with no training. Max brought back the quail 3 straight times and dropped at my feet. Tried the pheasant and he brought that back by the leg, even though it was as big as Max. My in-laws are thinking about a lab and I have recommended the Siedelmann labs. If we ever look at another lab we will surely go back to Siedelmann Submitted by: bob maxwell on Jan 02, 2010 I purchased a female yellow lab from Siedelmanns.I have only had her for three weeks but already is showing signs of a great hunter. she loves the outdoors even with all the snow and cold weather we have had. Was very easy to house train and also knows several verbal and hand signals. she is very smart, easy going, and is just a pleasure to have around. If the short time we have had her is any indication of the future we are in for a great time with her. I can't wait for next fall. If you are looking for a quality breeder who is easy to work with, Siedelmann is for you. Submitted by: Tiffany on Dec 21, 2009 We bought our yellow lab from Siedelmanns with the intention of one day breeding him and running field trials or hunt test. His mother is Maggie and father Ace. We took River (our pup) hunting for the first time at 15 weeks. He's a very impressive dog! He's very bright and a hunting machine! He has no fear of following the bigger dogs into 5 feet high drifts! My family has been in the dog business over 40 years and even they were surprised with how well our dog does. He learns quickly and loves to be outside and go hunting and follow his nose. All around a very impressive dog!!!Submitted by: Chris Helms on Feb 25, 2009 I got my second lab from Siedelmann's and am very impressed. Brutus our 12 week old chocolate lab is great. I recenly took him to Upland fields for a pheasant hunt and he loved it. He listens well, doesnt bark or whine, has great disposition, is great around kids, was house broken after a week, and hunts like he has been doing it for years. I have had multiple people ask where I got him as he is one of the best labs they have seen at only 12 weeks! The Siedelmann's where very good people and take pride in their dogs.Submitted by: Michele Lynch on Sep 08, 2008 We were new to selecting purebred labs, but knew how to take care of & vet a dog. We've always had 'pound puppys' to hunt in the past & decided to take the risk. The seller was wonderful & very informative to work with. They explained everything with the new puppy registration process & left their number for any questions. The dog was so great.. we never had any questions. She was born to fetch. She is already trained at waterfowl + sitting/retrieving/flushing for birds at 9 months of age. As hunting season draws near, she'll only get better! Submitted by: CARMAN GROVE on Aug 08, 2008 We purchased our Choc. Lab puppy from Siedelmann's and we are so pleased. "Trucker" is very smart, good dispositioned, and has great confirmation. Their facilities are top-notch. Anyone purchasing from this breeder would not be disappointed. |
