Overbaron Kountry Kennel - Indiana German Wirehaired Pointer Breeders

I’ve purchased two GWPs from OKK and couldn’t be happier. These are my #8 and 9 GWPs and they’ve all served as both working bird dogs and personal companion/family dogs. They have incredible drive, are easily trained and, best of all, they are on the smaller size for the breed (45-50 lbs). Which has proven to be far more convenient to keep and care for. From a strictly bird dog perspective, I have been an avid ruffed grouse hunter for 40+ years and currently spend no less than 30 days in the field each season. These dogs adjust their range naturally, are quick to point, and are reliable tracker/retrievers. I whole heartedly endorse John as producing two of the finest animals I have had the pleasure to train and hunt over.
