She did very well on the 9 hour trip home to Washington. She's the sweetest dog ever, with a wonderful temperment. Very smart and obedient, especially when offered treats. People are amazed that she's pretty much house trained. We couldn't be happier. Thank you Ryan and Tara, you've done a good job with these pups.Submitted by: Bruce on Nov 17, 2008 We couldn't be happier with our GSP pup from Summer Wind. At four months old, he's a pleasant, happy, active pup, while still fairly mellow and even tempered (impressive for a pointer at his age!!). Even our local vet, who owns a GSP, and sees many hunting dogs come through, couldn't praise his temperment and physique enough - "You've got a REALLY nice pointer there!!" she said several times during his first visit. On top of this, he's displaying all the traits of a solid bird dog with a very keen nose, trainability and a good relationship with his handler in the field. He obviously comes from excellent parents, and Summer Wind is producing a great line of all-around GSP's for the field. |
