Snake River Retrievers offers high quality hunting and family labrador retrievers. Our dogs are active in hunting competitions and are experienced gun dogs on waterfowl, upland game, and most recently as antler hunting retrievers. Our dogs come from chosen lines with health clearances. We offer stud service, puppies and started dogs. We offer black, yellow and chocolate labrador retrievers. Our dogs can be found all across the country. We have experience in sending dogs out of state and commonly send puppies throughout Idaho, Utah, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Nevada, California, Arizona and Alaska.

Rider was 1 1/2 years of age and I bought him as a started dog. One year later Rider worked his way through HRC Hunt test and is now a Hunting Retriever Champion. HRCH Rider recently earned a jam in an AKC qualifier and will continue in hopes of becoming "Qualified All Age". We are also working towards an AKC MH title. He is a great companion and my family could not have gotten a better dog. Rider is a product of Casey and Grubby. He seemed shy and timid as a puppy but eli said not to worry. He was right! This dog has game, a great nose and is a ballistic machine. Okie is like a one in a thousand dog but so probably are most of the other dogs Eli breeds. Their dogs are absolutely great. I didn't think I was going to find that. Friendly, good disposition and love to retrieve. I was thoroughly impressed with Eli's knowledge of dogs and down to earth personality. If you are looking for a great hunting dog this is the place. His five year old boy was able to handle the dogs on retrieves with no problem. Really cool. Plus his prices were the best I could find for the pedigree! Submitted by: Brent Jones on Jan 26, 2011 Absolutely incredible dogs. His dogs are extremely well behaved and easy going around people, yet hard driving and focussed when retrieving. My pup from him has those exact same characteristics. I would recommend him to anyone. If you are looking for a dog with a great pedigree that comes from lines with health clearances and can be a family dog too, this is the place. The owner took me out hunting and I have never seen dogs perform to that level. In the blind they were mellow and focussed. They watched the sky and marked every bird with ease. Even the 100 yard+ cripple blind retrieve was nailed. The owner is a straight forward guy and easy to talk with.
