About Moody Creek Shorthairs Kennels
Moody Creek Shorthair's is a small family owned kennel. We have 1 or 2 batches of pups a year out of our hunting dogs. That are from nationally known, quality shorthairs. I have been raising and training gun dogs for 18 years, enjoying the satisfaction of watching the dogs reach their potential. And seeing the sheer joy they have in doing what they are bred to do.

Well just picked up my german shorthair pup she looks great and what a personality. Could not have a met a nicer and more professional gun dog breeder then Rod and his super nice wife. Can't wait to get the pup hunting. Thanks Rod.

I'm waiting for my pup to arrive. I just wanted to say that I have known Rod for thirty years. Through all of those years, we have had the common interest of training and hunting together. I write this review because I just left his new kennel. Rod has moved further out into the country and has constructed a nice facility. He is retired now and the kennel is what he does. His breeding stock is superb.

Follow up on testimonial.I picked up my male pup Nov 2013 I trained from Nov to Feb 2014 then took him out to Miller Ranch in March, he was six months old at this point and this young dog got right to work and he just amazed me with what he could do for such a young pup. In two days he pointed, held and retrieved eight roosters and he hit the heavy brush and grass, amazing. With the season over it's back to training for 2014, great dog. Jack Dolan 509-389-8481

I got .one of Rod's dogs Nov 2013 and what a great pup, easy to train and does great in the house. I've had him out on quail and even though he's only a pup he did great, what a great dog.Jack Dolan
