Submitted by: George Martin on Jul 29, 2015Hey Suzy,
Thanks again for the great WPG, Kari is 13 weeks old now and is fitting in great. I was able to potty train her in just two weeks, She loves the water and her prey drive is really starting to show.
She was well socialized when we picked her up and loves to ride in a car. I appreciate all the work you put into raising the pups and getting them ready to bring home. I took her to the vet a couple days after I first got home and he praised the way the pup looked and acted while there, Vet said looks like I made a good choice.
If we should ever decide to get another pup I would definitely go with Donnybrook Kennels. Even though there is a waiting list for one of your dogs, it was well worth the wait. Should you have anyone that would like to call or talk to someone who has purchased a pup from you feel free to give them my phone number.
Submitted by: Micah Dodson on Jul 25, 2015Donnybrook is a great kennel! They breed amazing dogs! The Donnybrook Griffs are intelligent, easy to train, have great hunting instincts, and are great family dogs. We are so happy with Arnold, our Griffon.
Suzy was very communicative and great to work with. She loves each of the puppies like they are her own. She and Scott are incredibly helpful. Even after you've purchased your pup, they offer great advice for training.
Lastly, Arnold, our new Griff has more aptitude for intelligence, obedience, and hunting than I've seen in any other dog. We've had AKC Labs and a German Wirehaired Pointer. None of them swam or retrieved as early as Arnold. He swam at 8 weeks on his own initiative and hasn't stopped since. I can hardly wait to get him in the field this Fall.
Thank you for this amazing addition to our family!
Submitted by: JasonH on Jan 12, 2015I received a really great, healthy griffon from Donnybrook Kennels. Delta is 10 months old and is doing really well. She has a really sound and loving temperament. Suzy was really great to work with too.
Submitted by: Eric on Jan 09, 2014Hi Suzy and Scott,
Thanks again for enriching our house with Bradley. Griffs truly are the "best dog ever" and Bradley is such a prince. He's the perfect companion for our family and is proving to be a great hunter…even at just 9 months old. Fellow dog owners are so impressed with how mellow he is for a puppy (another Griff trait) and fellow hunters simply smile and nod when they see how well he hunts at such an early age (stays close, works for the scent, solid/accurate points).
And Donnybrook's support is so welcome. I truly appreciate being able to email/call/text and always get a quick response to help answer any questions that we have.
The combination of Griffs and Donnybrook is a winner.
PS – don't be surprised if we coming knocking for another one soon :)
Submitted by: Christina on Dec 05, 2013Suzy is awesome and sends pictures every step of the way, even of your puppy's mommy when your pup is in utero! She is very thorough and is willing to answer any questions you may have...Maggie is perfect and loves to go hiking or find some birds!!!
Submitted by: Scott on Sep 30, 2013Scott and Suzy are terrific to work with. They know their griffs! I have had the pleasure of hunting over some of their griffs and was very impressed. I enjoyed working with them in selecting a terrific male pup for my family.
Our Rocky is doing great at 5 months. He is interested in anything that smells of birds and is taking well to his training.
I would recommend working with Donnybrook if you are intrested in WPG's!
Submitted by: Julie on Jun 28, 2013We highly recommend Donnybrook Kennels to anyone in search of a griff. Suzy and Scott have been wonderful throughout the entire process. You will get updates on the mommy and pictures and videos of your pup. This is our first WPG and they are always available to answer questions about training...or anything griff related. More importantly, they have become friends to our family and grandparents to our new 'baby'. Thank you Scott and Suzy!
Submitted by: Chance Sumsion on Mar 25, 20128 WEEKS AND POINTING A GROUSE TAIL!!!!:) I cant begin to convey how happy my family and I are with Donnybrook (Suzy, Scott and family). I contacted Suzy two days before Chewie and Annie's litter was to hit the ground. They were the 9th breeder I had talked to and I had tried to do my homework as best I could. From the beginning it was an easy decision. I had weekly, sometimes daily, updates from Suzy, and knowing her vet had pick of the litter told me I was making the right choice. I had my choice between 6 WP Griffon males, a very tough decision, all were very healthy and handsome pups. It has been a very enjoyable 8 weeks and have decided to name my boy "Quigley" Truly an amazing pair Annie and Chewie have done well. Thank you Suzy, Scott and family.
Submitted by: Everett Wilson on Jan 28, 2012We had a great experience. Easy to find. Suzy helped us with loads of great info and took the time to answer all our questions. Our little griff "Griz" is wonderful and smart.
