Submitted by: Dawn Nicholson on Jan 28, 2012We purchased our dog Ellie form Bob February of 2011. We had great communication, from the start, when we decided to move forward with this breed. A good friend of mine turned me on about this breed. I am very pleased with the whole experience. Bob is a great guy!! We love our Ellie, she is the best bird dog ever! One think I will say this breed is off the charts on the energy level. She loves lots of exercise, and hunting trips! Most of all she is an excellent family dog, the best of both worlds!
We will always be a Cedar Woods fan!
Submitted by: Bernadette Taylor on Nov 04, 2010We purchased a our puppy in March of 2002 and were thrilled when he arrived 6 weeks later. From the beginning Sidney was a sweet, loveable and smart dog. He was great with kids and all other animals. I have allergies to dogs and cats so he was a perfect fit for our family. Sidney sat on the couch....slept in our bed......and was one of the kids!!! We had seven amazing years with Sid before he was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer. We wanted to say that these dogs are amazing!!! Sidney was a blessing to our family and is missed very much to this day.
Submitted by: Barry R. Lutz on Jun 18, 2010I purchased Oni in December of 2008 from Mr. Farris. I could not be more pleased with my dog. She has been everything I could want in the field. Steady on point, tenacious, retrieves well, good nose. But also for our family a great house dog. Able to relax with us in the family room, and oh yes doesn't shed. The best breed and dog I have ever owned.
Submitted by: Rich Wells on Mar 18, 2010We picked up Anytime Jack in October 2009. I could not be happier with him. He is a great family dog, and his ability to hunt is incredible. If you do not know the breed, you will think that I am embellishing the story. He has been pointing and retrieving live birds since he was three months old. This dog is everything and more than Bob told me he would be. It is almost unbelievable how GREAT the PP breed is for both family and field. We will be sending Jack back to Bob for his field training in June.
Submitted by: Todd Baier on May 28, 2008I count myself among the luckiest of sportsmen for finding Bob Farris and purchasing a hunting partner from him. My PP is everything I wanted and more. If you want a dog that can be at home on the prairies, pheasant sloughs, and the duck blind, look no further.
Submitted by: Anthony Bezenar on Sep 05, 2007I have two Cedarwoods dogs, and both have done well in NAVHDA testing. They are a pleasure to watch in the field. Anyone should feel privaleged to own an animal of this caliber.
Submitted by: Kirk Nebeker on Jun 12, 2007Bob is a great guy to work with and really knows his dogs. My Pudelpointer is everything I ever wanted in a bird dog, as my two loves are seaducks and grouse. I wish I knew about this breed sooner and will never go back to anything else. Bob has a loyal customer for life, as he is straight forward, honest, and produces the best of the best hunting dogs. Kirk Nebeker Pasco, Washington
