ZZ Farms and Kennels was born to offer the "do-it-yourself" hunter or dog trainer a reasonable place to enjoy time with your companion. We also offer a full time training program. We have been training for over 20 years. Our specialty is the Weimaraner, but we train all breeds of bird dogs plus flushing dogs and retrievers for personal hunting or competition. Your dog will be trained to your specifications. Our facility boasts planted pines, a pond for water work, and plenty of grassland areas for upland birds. Your dog will receive daily personal attention. You are always welcome, by appointment, to see your dog's progress in the field. We will also teach you to handle your hunting dog in the field. We will help you enter the games of field trialing and AKC Hunt Tests with your dog. Nikolaus Scharpf is an AKC licensed judge in both venues and will be glad to explain more about both types of competition.
