Submitted by: Phil Phillips on Jan 04, 2013My wife and I bought an English Setter from Joan. Our dog, Dora, is now 13 months old and has been an absolute dream. She has been trained and now will point birds, hold a point and retrieve dead birds. She also is a fine house pet. She stays in the house with us most of the time. We have been very pleased with her. Even though she is still really a puppy, she acts like a mature dog and she is a part of our family now.
Joan was a pleasure to work with. We live in South Carolina so we did everything over the internet and telephone. Joan had Dora flown to us and she arrived happy and healthy.
If I ever buy another dog, I will certainly contact Joan again.
Submitted by: Cephus Turner on Jan 16, 2012I purchased an English Setter pup for my son Tanner on 1-14-2012. The pup was extremely healthy and all required shots, etc. had been administered. Ms. Labree's kennel was very clean which was indicated by the excellent shape of her breeder dogs and pups. It is evident that Ms. Labree has excellent experience as a breeder and social skills in meeting her customers needs. Thank you Ms. Labree for making my sons days ahead a very enjoyable hunt and dog companionship.
Submitted by: Roger Mink on Aug 25, 2010I bought an English Pointer puppy from Wilderland Kennels (2-28-10). The puppy was everything it was advertised to be and more. I could not be happier. I think Joan LaBree is a great breeder to do business with.
