I have a 2 year old black lab and my brother has a yellow lab from the same litter. Both are smart, healthy, and were easy to train. We were impressed with the exceptionally good breeding and care the dogs get at Stephens Lab Depo - and highly recommend them!

After an unsuccessful extensive research for a black lab in Jacksonville, Florida. We were not able to find one that came from such a fine line of parents other than Stephens Lab Depot. We searched high and low in Jax. only to find some labs but just not the one we were looking for. We contacted Judy and Gordon and drove up to look at the puppies. We did have some problems finding their home but Judy came out and we followed her back to their property. We were overwhelmed with puppies and just how healthy they looked. We ended up finally picking one out and we couldn't of been happier with our pick. We have not had any health problems with Sherwood, and I must say he is one of the smartest dogs I have ever owned. And believe me, I have owned many dogs in my lifetime.

They explained all of the benefits to having a lab and made sure we were comfortable with the choice we made. Granted, we don't use him for hunting but he makes one heck of a family pet. We also have a cat at home and we weren't sure how Sherwood would react when we got him home but now they are best friends. We new the cat was fine with dogs because we had previous roomates that had dogs. The first couple of days were interesting with the two of them in the same house but we didn't have any problems. I can honestly say Sherwood has never messed in the house from the day we brought him home. So, that made it much easier to adjust to having him around. He is now 3 years old and the most beautiful lab you could imagine. We get compliments on how great and healthy he looks all the time.

Sherwood has certainly been a true blessing to our home.
