About Statesman Welsh Springer Spaniels
Statesman has been breeding, hunting, and showing Welsh Springer Spaniels since 1975. We have bred/owned 80+ show champions. Additionally, Statesman dog have earned almost 30 hunting titles (more than any other WSS breeder). We strive to produce healthy dogs by testing all dogs with OFA for hip, elbow, and thryoid abnormalities. We also test for eye problems with CERF. Statesman is proud that the Welsh Springer has no separation in type between show, field, and pet dogs. It is one breed, and we feel it is our job to keep them functional, sound, and attractive.
