About Ogeechee KennelLane's Kennel in Statesboro, Ga has hunted and produced top level bird dogs for 30+ years. Breeding for the best qualities in hunting dogs, our dogs can cover ground with ease and desire. If you are looking for a dog with a great nose and strong hunting desire then we have the dogs for you. Pups and Started dogs available from time to time. Ogeechee Kennels is home to the personal gundogs of the Bob Lane family. We have raised and trained birddogs since the early 1960's. In the early years' we had mostly what we called "meat" dogs and in the 1980's we bought a daughter of CH. Hook's Bounty Hunter and really began concentrating on improving our dogs and hopefully the pointer breed. In the late 1990's we bought our first American Brittany to compliment the wider ranging pointer and found it to be a great fit for hunting. Our pointer bloodlines continue to have decendents of Cisco (by Hook's Bounty Hunter)as well as Guard Rail, Evolution, Fiddler, Miller's Silver Bullet, Addition's Go Boy, Law's High Noon, Southern Doctor, Elhew Fibber McGee and others. Our Brittany bloodlines are primarilly from Nat'l Ch. Nolan's Last Bullet, Nat'l Amatuer Ch. Walker''s Gunner (sire of Nat'l Ch. Dixie Chick), Rimardo's Trademark, Hiproof Rum Runner, Bean's Blaze, Diamond Hill Dan, Piney Run Sam and others. Thank you for looking!
