About Daybreak English Setters

Daybreak English Setters is a small, family owned breeding kennel specializing in Ryman/Old Hemlock line setters, a close ranging type well suited for tight cover grouse and woodcock, pheasant, and foot hunted quail. Our dogs are beautiful, easily trained, and posses great natural hunting instincts. They also make excellent pets. Dr. James Barger, co- owner with his wife Gia, is a small animal veterinarian with 33 years of practice experience, so you can expect pups in excellent health. Socialization is if paramount importance, so our pups are whelped and raised in our house with our family (which includes mom and I and 10 puppy-loving children from 3- 18) until picked up/shipped to their new owners. All pups come started on vaccinations and anti parasite treatment, and are fully checked out by Dr. Barger for health issues. Microchip available on request.
