We participate in AKC Hunt Tests and Field Trials.

We feel that our dogs must prove that they are good candidates to hunt before we consider breeding them.

We believe in maintaining high standards for health including proper veterinary care, cleanliness and a good feeding program.

We breed just a couple of litters each year so that we can spend enough time handling and socializing our puppies. We want your puppy to become your trusted friend and family companion for years to come.

Our puppies are bred from generations of hunting dogs and good temperaments are a must. We expect to place pups who are happy, well adjusted and who want to hunt.

Our dogs are AKC Registered and OFA Certified, and we will not sell a pup unless their registrations or registration applications have already been received by us! We have experienced the problem of "papers are still in the mail and they will be sent as soon as they arrive" and we will not sell a registered pup unless we can give you the papers at the time of purchase.

Puppies will have tails docked, dewclaws removed, dewormed at least twice and their first vaccinations.

All our dogs and puppies are fed Purina Pro Plan Performance or Puppy Food exclusively. A good diet and good health care makes a good dog better.

We have a female that we purchased from Buggytown. She is one of Sadie's pups. Her name is also Sadie. We absolutely love her. She is the best family dog. Very loving. She loves to run in the woods and chase squirrels.She has a beautiful stance at point.

We purchased a female Brittany puppy from Buggytown at the end of Summer 2010. We got her first as a pet, and second as a potential bird dog. Although we haven't trained her yet for hunting, she shows all of the qualities of an excellent bird dog, but even more so, and wonderful companion to me, my wife and my two young boys. We are in love with our "Belle" and she has fit well into our family. We would definitely purchase another dog from Buggytown and highly, highly recommend them.

I have bred two of Buggytown females to my male GSP and they have turned out some nice versitle dogs . From bloodtracking to pointing quail to retreiving ducks and most recent treeing squirlls.Mrs Julia and Mr Karl are super nice people to know and deal with A1 service. hello, i have gotten 3 birddogs from ms julia, and will be getting another soon as the pups she has are ready. 2 of my pups are out cole beer.these dogs have been awsome. they all have had the best nose and learn so well. 1 working on master. 1 working on senior. 1 going for jr. and the other little fellow just lots of birds for now. the male dog i have has placed in open derby,and 3 place in amateaur gun dog. defiantely happy getting dogs from the heidbrinks/julia/carl
