Submitted by: Kevin Villatoro on Jan 27, 2014You guys were amazing. From the early questions all the way till AFTER I picked him up, yall were awesome. Yall were very informative and knew this breed to the last detail. Rarely do I so adamantly give recommendations, but I have already countless times and will continue to do so. I will gather all the pictures from the last few months and send them to yall very soon. Once again, thank you for your helpful service, and for introducing me to my best friend. Happy hunting awaits. Thanks!
Submitted by: Camille Brinkman on Nov 25, 2013We loved the process of choosing and purchasing a puppy from the Bell's! They were very helpful and accommodating to our schedule as we live out of state. The puppy is awesome! TUCKR is two years old now and he is a very smart, sweet and obedient dog. He loves to hunt!!! I would recommend one of their puppies to anyone who is looking and has lots of area for them to run and hunt!
Submitted by: Keleigh Porter on Nov 01, 2013I took home a BEAUTIFUL German Shorthaired Pointer named Abby when she was 8 weeks old from Bell's Beauties.
Long story short: my good friend is serving overseas in Afghanistan and was looking for a companion upon returning home in November. Since I was in the states, I helped him look for the perfect puppy to have when he gets home. I volunteered to take care of the puppy he chose if she was ready before the date he returns home.
We found Bell's Beauties on GunDogBreeders.com and after emailing several different breeders, we both knew that we had found the right one after their prompt response to him and I both. That has not wavered either - I still keep in contact with them and they have been so supportive and responsive if I have ever had any questions or concerns!
I have had several dogs throughout my life and experienced other breeders as well. I can honestly say, I have never met a better family breeder than the Bell's. They not only kept me updated throughout the entire process, but allowed me to spend a LOT of time at their house playing and getting to know the puppy I would be taking home.
I do not consider them to be a 'typical breeder', which is extremely refreshing to me. The Bell's are a RARE find - you don't normally come across breeders that genuinely care for each puppy as if it were a part of their own family. They have a beautiful home and keep their dogs inside with them, not outside in cages like most breeders do. Also they only have ONE litter a year. To me personally that shows how much they care for their dogs and that they are not in this for anything other than to help the right people find lifelong companions.
Since I am caring for Abby until her owner returns from Afghanistan in a few weeks, I was privileged to meet and get to know the Bell's throughout the process. They were more than welcoming to me and even allowed me to Skype to my friend in Afghanistan with Abby, at their home, so he could see her! (I spent hours with the Bell's every time I visited Abby before she was ready to come home with me!)
The Bell's even helped me with Abby when she wasn't eating after the first few days of bringing her home. They allowed me to go back to their house and even took Abby to the vet for me as a precautionary measure. (Vet said she looked A++ and just needed time adjusting to change and to add a few things to her food to allow for her weight gain.) They even gave me more food and weight supplements the vet recommended for Abby!
I saw and got to play with every puppy in the litter and even the mom, Duchess! Every individual that has seen Abby or pictures of her has told me that they have NEVER seen a more beautiful GSP. Not only is she one of the smartest and attentive dogs I have had, but she is absolutely beautiful. I have had several friends ask me where I got her because they have looked a long time for that high of quality puppy.
After having her for a short amount of time so far, I already know how hard it will be to give her up to her real home. The only thing I can look forward to is visiting her and even one day getting my own GSP from Bell's Beauties. They are more than just a breeder, I actually really have enjoyed every minute of the experience with them and their dogs.
Submitted by: Owen G.Holloway on Oct 28, 2013The Bell’s really need to consider taking “kennel” out of their name, because they are the furthest thing from the definition. They are a loving family who have a true passion for German Short Haired Pointers. From breeding only once a year, raising the litter in their home, having interaction with their small children one thing is for certain you can see the love in their puppies.
Submitted by: Anita Berry on Oct 25, 2013We purchased a puppy from Bell's Beauties 2 years ago and are happy to report that this puppy has far exceeded our expectations. Even as a puppy she was so much smarter than any other dog I had been around. The excellent temperament and Pedigree that the Bell's breed is superior to what most breeders have; however, their home, cleanliness of their dogs and puppies and the whole experience they offer if unmatched. They treat you with kindness, respect and have a love and devotion to their puppies that goes beyond anything I've seen. They will answer any question, day or night and have an abundance of knowledge that they are willing to share. They have an awesome relationship with their Vet and the staff there heaps praises on the Bell's dogs as well. The gift bags they give their puppies and new owners are personalized and so thoughtful too. They are not kidding when they say you will NOT be disappointed.
Submitted by: Marta and Charles Poekert on Sep 03, 2013Bells Beauties Kennel is the best! We got a two year old puppy from them this past July (2013). We could not be happier with our male dog Duke. He's not just beautiful, but he has a wonderful temperament. He has been a wonderful companion to our other dog, Leila. We fell in love with Duke, the minute we met him. He is so well trained around children that we had no reservations when we brought him home to meet our kids and grandkids. The Bells run a very caring, conscious breeding program and their dogs are well loved and cared for. My husband and I only wish we could adopt more puppies from them. The GSPs are loving dogs that complete your life in a special way and they are excellent in the field.
