Would like to say thanks to Ken and Angie Sellers for their commitment to the Boykin Spaniel breed and for the high standards they uphold. I was fortunate enough to run across Ken while searching online and after a brief conversation I felt comfortable with putting a deposit down. Ken understood what I was looking for and a few weeks later he had a wonderful pup picked out for us. We picked up "Colt" two years ago and fell in love immediately. He's a awesome representation of the Boykin breed. He has a wonderful demeanor, very loving, quick learner and has an incredible nose for finding lost birds. We could not be happier with him. I've been fortunate to have owned some wonderful little Boykins since being introduced to the breed nearly 20 years ago and Colt sets the bar even higher. Thanks again Ken and Angie.

My boyfriend and I highly recommend South Georgia Kennel for your boykin spaniel. My boyfriend always wanted a boykin spaniel, so one day we sat down on the computer and let the search begin. We contacted a few breeders by email, and Ken Sellers was the first to respond. Ken responded quickly to my email. I then called to speak with Ken. I felt so comfortable talking to him...it was like we had met before. Ken was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable with the breed. Ken gave me lots of information on the breed of dog. After a chat with Ken I was sold..little did I know almost 7 months later we have our Maddie girl. When the puppies were born I left it up to Ken to pick me out a girl as we are from Wisconsin. Ken called me one Saturday after the puppies were born and said, "Im just calling to see what you are looking for in your girl?" After I told him he said I have just the girl for you...and boy did he ever. Maddie is PERFECT! Maddie was quick to potty train, and she now rings the bell. Maddie has brought so much joy to our lives. I don't know what we would do without her. She is such a good puppy with so much love to give. She is all around a great dog and a top of the line breed. Ken kept us updated when she was born with pictures...coming all the way from Wisconsin to pick up this bundle of joy the Sellers welcomed us into their home with open arms. Maddie was all cleaned up and smelled like a baby when we picked her up. I highly recommend Ken & Angie Sellers, you will NOT be disappointed...great people with great boykins. :)

After extensive research of several Boykin Spaniel Kennels, I telephoned Ken and Angie Sellers, who own South Georgia Kennels. Ken took time to speak with me about the Boykin breed and tried to find out exactly what we were looking for in a Boykin Pup. Their breeding stock is from among most highly sought after in Boykins. After a mutual interview, I made a deposit on a pup. We had the opportunity to meet all of Ken and Angie's dogs and they are beautiful and very socialized. South Georgia Kennel is more than a breeder. A loving family raises, cares for and hunts these dogs. One very important point that distinguishes this breeder is that their breeding dogs are vet-certified for hips, cardiac and EIC. When you are paying for a top quality hunting buddy or member of the family, you need to know that your dog's parents have been carefully screened for common Boykin health issues. We picked our Boykin up on November 29, 2013, and "Khaki Pants" has been a true joy. She is beautiful, and conforms to the Boykin breed standards in every way. Our veterinarian is in love with her as well, and was very impressed by her pedigree and careful breeding. Our Boykin is a fast learner and loves to retrieve her canvas hunting dummy. She was well loved and socialized by Ken and Angie Sellers and the beautiful kids. We cant wait to get Khaki in the lake and retrieving birds. I have had my pup, Daisy Bell, for two weeks now and to say she is the highlight of my day is an understatement. I've had other dogs but none have shown the love that she has shown in the past two weeks. On top of that she has already started to learn basic commands (sit, stay, come, and no) and is retrieving any thing I toss for her. She is also almost completely potty trained and has only peed inside one time this past week. The obedience and companionship she has shown already at such a young age says a lot about the Blood line of South Georgia Kennel.

I recently picked up my Boykin Spaniel from Ken and Angie at South Georgia Kennel and I want to share my wonderful experience with these breeders. Kona is a beautiful little puppy with a very happy disposition and outgoing personality from the socialization provided early on from the breeders and their children. She also is very intelligent and learns quickly. At the first visit to my vet, Dr. B stated that she is a quality Boykin with perfect features. He said he has seen many Boykins with breed faults, but my Kona is one of the best he has seen. You can't go wrong with South Georgia Kennels.
